Local Express lets you create an account to save preferences and unlock features. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. No personal data is shared with third parties.
Analytics — Cookieless page-view counts via Vercel Analytics. No identifying information is collected.
Map tiles — Served by Stadia Maps. Tile requests go directly from your browser to their servers.
Transit data — Realtime feeds from the MTA, fetched by our API server. No user data is sent to the MTA.
Accounts — If you sign in, your display name, email, and saved commutes are stored on our servers. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
